It's weird being nine pounds away from my ideal weight.
Nine…lousy….pounds.
I saw them in Austin, Texas in early 2011 at a show in Stubbs BBQ and the again in SXSW where they played a free concert! It was great, people jumping fences, running from security, i heard it went 10,000 over capacity, it was an outside show, i actually snuck in that show because they wouldn't let me in >:/ I saw AM in Stubbs BBQ as well in early August. You should really go to a Strokes show. They are amazing! You just feel so awesome at their shows, and Strokes fans are so great! :D
I am so jealous! That’s awesome that you snuck in. I’ve seen The Strokes before in 2006 and a small-ish venue and it was so fun. I’ve been waiting for them to come back to San Francisco ever since.
I want to have a get together with everyone I know and their friends too.
I want everyone to get along and sit around and tell stories. I want to talk to new people and drink fancy drinks.

How do you get clothing so cheap? Like the platform shoes and the velvet skirt?
I thrift alot, which is how I got the velvet skirt.
and I happened to go on Forever21.com when they were having an amazing sale, which is how I got those four dollar shoes.
But yeah, mostly thrifting and clearance racks, I guess. Both of those things take patience, I think so anyways. When you go to a thirft store, I think you should have give yourself plenty of time to look through everything. I’ve found some amazing stuff at thrift stores either on the floor, on the wrong rack, or shoved behind something else. Same with clearance racks…there are SO many ugly clothes in those racks when you just skim though, but if you take the time to look through everything, sometimes you’ll find some really good stuff.
